The Classy Chapter began during an ordinary grocery shopping trip when Miranda Blake, standing in line one Sunday afternoon, instinctively picked up the latest issue of Cosmopolitan magazine. It was a habit she had maintained for 17 years, but later that evening, as she sat on her couch with a cup of coffee, she realized something had changed. Articles that once captivated her—about first-time meetings with a boyfriend’s parents, decoding text messages, and navigating one-night stands—no longer resonated. With three children asleep and her husband by her side, Miranda Blake recognized she had moved beyond the pages of Cosmo, yet didn’t quite fit into magazines like Redbook, SELF, or Woman’s Day.
That moment sparked the creation of The Classy Chapter—a space designed specifically for women transitioning from carefree youth into a more settled, yet still dynamic and exciting, chapter of life. It’s the stage where cozy evenings at home, sipping wine rather than jello shots, and being asleep by 10 PM on a Friday night become truly appealing.
Meet Miranda Blake and Her Family
Miranda Blake has over seven years of experience in blogging, social media, and campaign management, including three impactful years with a major blog network. She lives in the Sacramento/Auburn area of Northern California, where family life is lively and never dull. Her husband, John, is her greatest cheerleader, enthusiastically supporting all her ideas—no matter how adventurous or unconventional.
Miranda Blake and John are proud parents of four wonderful children:
Iziah, born in 1997, is Miranda Blake’s oldest son and resident genius. Passionate about history, gaming, and socializing with friends, he brings thoughtful perspectives and laughter to the family.
JJ, born in 2005, embodies energy and passion. Deeply involved in football since he was young, JJ plays middle linebacker and proudly supports the Raiders. His enthusiasm and vast knowledge of football often surprise and impress everyone around him.
Sophia, born in 2009, is the family’s creative and fashion-savvy child. She adores watching beauty tutorials on YouTube, creating jewelry, and engaging in competitive cheerleading and tumbling, activities that keep the family constantly on the move.
Jackson, born in July 2017, is the youngest and full of joy and curiosity. His boundless energy keeps everyone busy and entertained, especially during the nights when he prefers playtime over sleep.
