How is meal planning going for you? Have you noticed that you are saving a little more time? Even better yet are you saving money?
I have definitely noticed some savings in my bank account. I’m also loving that I’m not so stressed out on what to cook every single night! We haven’t been eating out which is always a good thing when it comes to saving money and eating a little healthier!
Meal Planning Week 14
I have to say my favorite part about meal planning isn’t about saving money or time, it’s finding new and exciting recipes to try!
I’m loving all of the new recipes I’ve been trying. I’m even getting the kids to expand their eating habits and they are actually enjoying trying new things!

Monday – Crock Pot Asian Pork Chops I’m a sucker for anything that goes in the crock pot! Serve this one up with some fresh veggies and a side of rice. Yum!
Tuesday – Lasagna Soup I’m thinking this will go well with some homemade bread. Make sure you save the leftovers!
Wednesday – Venison Butternut Squash Stew It just so happens that I have an entire freezer full of venison. I love finding new venison recipes. If you don’t have venison you can use a different type of meat. It will still taste amazing.
Thursday – Slow Cooker Roast Beef Another great crock pot recipes. I can’t wait to try this one since I’m a huge fan of slow cooker meals when it’s hot out! I hate turning on the oven during the summer months.
Friday – Roasted Olive Tomato Chicken This dish just sounds tasty and elegant. Update – I’ve tried this and it was amazing! Seriously, the whole family loved it.
Saturday – Shrimp Bacon Corn Chowder Shrimp and bacon? I’m sold!
Sunday – Beef Marinara Stuffed Portobello’s I’m not a huge mushroom fan but I really want to give this a try.
